Models implemented (3)
Besides the models that were already operational at CENTEC (SWAN, WAM, REFDIF, SHORECIRC and SURF) 3 new models were implemented in the framework of the NEARPORT project. These are
• STWAVE
• FUNWAVE
• WW3
Computational applications (3)
Three user friendly computational applications were implemented and developed using the MATLAB environment. They work independently but they can be connected with each other and with the standard MATLAB toolboxes.
• A MATLAB interface associated with the coastal models based on the spectrum concept (SWAN and STWAVE) that allows a rapid implementation and evaluation of the wave models in the vicinity of the harbors.
• A MATLAB toolbox associated with the phase computing models FUNWAVE and REFDIF.
• A MATLAB computational environment for wave data post processing and for statistical analysis.
