It is in WP5 that the meteorological forcing data for sea-level and wave hindcast will be verified, as well as the assessment of the quality of the data.

Uncertainty measures will be produced which will be based on comparisons between hindcast, measured and remote sensed data.

Verification data will be collected for wind, wave, sea-level and ice-sea states in order to compare data from different sources and produce statistics that describe the uncertainty of the gathered data.
