This workpackage aims to provide a 40-years hindcast of circulation and water levels for the North Sea, the NorthEast Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. In all the three areas, the HAMSOM model will be used with a horizontal resolution of 5km in the North Sea and 10km in the NorthEast Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. Meteorological forcing data produced by WP1 will be used to test the integration.

In each case, the model will be verified and calibrated before advancing to the production of the 40-year hindcast.
