Arrival in Split:
The list of airlines flying to Split can be found on the following link to Split Airport (http://www.split-airport.hr/Split_aerodrom_en.htm). When arriving to Split Airport you can take a taxi to your respective accommodation (the price is approx. 250 kn/35 euro), approx. 25 km and 30 min.. You can also take a bus that leaves the airport after every landing of regular flights and takes you to the centre of Split - Harbour Office Terminal and from there you can take a taxi. The price is 30 kn/approx. 4 euro). Also busses from Split to the Split Airport leave 90 minutes before the departure of aircrafts on regular flights - domestic and foreign. Information could be find on web page of the company «Pleso prijevoz d.o.o.» who is providing bus service (http://www.plesoprijevoz.hr/schedulest.htm).
From the Harbour Office Terminal best way to reach hotels:
To Hotel Park: by taxi, taxi station is near by, 3 min. 35 kn/ 5 euro
To Hotel Bellevue: on foot, approx. 500 m to West through walking zone Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda (coast informally called «Riva»).

Some taxi prices and suggestions:
From Hotel Park use taxi directly to FESB, it is approx. 3.7 km, 8 min, (60 kn / 8 euros).
From Hotel Hotel Bellevue take a walk, approx. 300 m, to North, through Marmontova Street to the taxi station at Trg Gaje Bulata. From this place to FESB is approx. 3.4 km, 8 min, (60 kn / 8 euros)

Bus No. 18 drives you near the FESB (Matice Hrvatske Street)
Bus No. 17 passes near the FESB (Matice Hrvatske Street) and can be also useful to drive you to the center of the city.
Bus ticket can be bought in Bus or at some kiosks (tobacco shops) and cost 10 kn / 1.5 euros.
Weather:
There are two climate zones in Croatia. A temperate continental climate prevails in the interior, whereas a pleasant Mediterranean climate prevails along the Adriatic coast with sunny days throughout most of the year, dry and hot summers and mild and humid winters. Average November temperature in Split vary between 10°C and 15°C but it can go down to 3°C. GMT plus one hour in winter and GMT plus two in summer.

Tap water is drinkable throughout Croatia.
Currency:
The currency unit in the Republic of Croatia is the kuna (HRK or Kn), which is divided into 100 lipa. Coins exist in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 lipa, and 1, 2, 5 and 25 kuna. Banknotes exist in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 kuna. Foreign currencies can be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, post offices, travel agencies, hotels, camps, marinas, while checks/cheques can be cashed in at banks. Tipping:
A tip is not obligatory, but small change is always welcomed. Taxi drivers, porters, hairdressers, etc., will always appreciate a small tip.
